The Gospel after Jesus Resurrection

19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

The interest of Europe

The European Union insofar as it is not governed by US-supporting leaders - by the term we are obviously not talking about abstruse conspiracies but politicians convinced about the superiority of the United States - has an interest in parallel with the principle of self-determination of ethnic groups, to promote also the integrity of the existing states, both in terms of its members, as well as in relation to the rest of the "old" continent. The recognition of Kosovo and Skopje with their own terms, undermines the future of the European Union, forging American enclaves within Europe.

The tactic of "divide and rule" applied by the superpower, must have proportionate responses. The European public has, for its very hesterophemy and autonomy, to recognize that it was misled in the dismemberment of Yugoslavia. The great mistake made then by the other Europeans apart from Greeks, although that at that time the leadership of the country was accepting it, but that does not change the fact that Greece is the first to suffer the consequences of that incorrect decision. However, nobody seems to be concerned about these realities. No proposal for absolute respect and the inviolability of existing states, the non-acceptance of new states and the categorical refusal to change the borders. Such a European Union would have a meaning for the future of Europe.

Skopje and Kosovo

The Greek side will be defeated concerning the Macedonian issue in case it accepts any complex derivative of the term Macedonia. The reason is very simple. The problem was not created today. It is a story already fifteen years old. What has happened during these years?
Although Skopje were recognised as an independent state with the name FYROM, for fifteen years they use in all internal and external services the term Republic of Macedonia. Let us remember how recently the prime minister of Skopje spoke from the rostrum of the UN as prime minister of the Republic of Macedonia. So, if FYROM is admitted as Republic of Macedonia, with an "upper", "down", "old", "new", it will be admitted as simple Macedonia. In other words, any further determination will be omitted from both the Skopjans, and other countries and will work just as eyewash for the Greeks. Hence it should not be accepted any discussion of the name of Skopje with a complex derivative of the term Macedonia, in exchange for the recognition of Kosovo. For Skopje Greece has the possibility of the veto. The acceptance of the independence of Kosovo, however, is a mistake of no return.

Cyprus without Tassos Papadopoulos

It is the first time that an acting president of Cyprus stays out of the second round of presidential elections. Random rather fact. Incidentally, Tassos Papadopoulos was the worst president of Cyprus; in his time there has been no significant concessions, Cyprus was associated with Russia and certainly the Annan plan was abandoned. If he held power, the worse might come over, as a solution to the Cyprus question on the basis of international law, which means ending the occupation. Excesses perhaps, but you never know what the mind of that crafty diplomat could create. It seems that the supporters of the Annan plan do not forget!
And now? Again the Annan plan, with some changes? And if so, who will dare to refuse? We want to hope that the Cyprus people will discard it and that his viewpoint will be heard by his new leadership.
However, Tassos Papadopoulos has achieved a lot. And only the delay of implementation of the project in conjunction with the accession of Cyprus to the EU has been a serious blow to the Turkish and American policy, which, whatever may happen in the future, can not be canceled. Also, Tassos Papadopoulos has taught foreign policy by showing the way to Moscow, which belatedly and unwillingly followed thereafter and the Greek side. When top politicians of both main old parties of the Greek state have postulated acceptance of the Annan plan as an one-single lifeline, or even term of survival of Hellenism, threatening to the consequences of a pseudo- isolation, Tassos through the ball to Putin. Time proved him right. The Greeks probably developed their reputation at the international level with the rejection of the plan, were not harmed, and they also acquired a new dimension, the Russian one, in their foreign policy.

Albanian Nationalism

The Albanians of Kosovo are prepared to declare the independence of the region. This action in addition to the consequences, which would bring in both political and military levels and the bad precedent which will establish, for many other similar cases, is accompanied by the expressions of an unprecedented form of nationalism. In any case, we do not hasten to denounce celebration of Albanians, but to identify a new form of a nationalistic consciousness. In all relevant events that Albanians appear to be proud of the "great Albanian nation" by holding two flags: their own and US'. What meaning do they give to the term large Albanian nation?
Other nations also were supported in their national demands by powerful countries, but at the time of intense nationalism waved their own flags alone. All the others, in similar cases believe to the strength and the greatness - real or imaginary is irrelevant- of their nation. This new phenomenon of Albanian nationalism is a creature of the ideological foreign policy of the USA, which supports the adoption of Albania in order to create an anobserved yet threat to Europe, which is Great Albania. Imagine in a few years a vast USA military presence in the soft underbelly of the old continent. The most tragic of all perhaps is that the first people who will suffer the effects of this phenomenon is the now foolishly celebrating Albanians, who seem not to want or not to be able to raise this question, why they were adopted by the United States. They will understand I believe, when the friendly US army will be established in their country. But maybe the Albanians cannot have something better. The other Balkan states and the European Union; They too do not wish or can not understand?
